How to Count Your Outs: Step-by-Step
Step 1: Identify Your Current Hand
Look at what you have right now. Are you on a draw? Do you have a pair? Understanding your current hand strength is the foundation.

What hand would beat your opponent? What do you need to hit to win? This tells you what cards you're looking for.
